Everything you need to know about Tesla wrap designs, AI designer, and Toybox installation
Choose a design for your exact Tesla model, check its download requirements, and save the PNG. On supported software, upload it through the Tesla app under Creations → Wrap → Upload, or copy it into a Wraps folder at the root of a compatible USB drive. Select the design in the vehicle under Toybox → Paint Shop → Wraps. Check the options available in your app and vehicle.
Choose your Tesla model in AI Studio and describe the design you want. Generation uses the credits shown before submission. Review the generated texture and 3D preview before downloading; AI output may need adjustments and is not guaranteed to align perfectly.
MyTesLab is an independent platform for browsing, previewing and creating digital Tesla wrap designs. These textures customize the vehicle visualization on supported Tesla software; they are not physical vinyl wraps. Download and generation requirements are shown in the app.
Open AI Studio, choose the exact model and describe your design. Check the credit cost before generating. You can also browse community designs, inspect their previews and check the download requirements on each design page.
Download conditions vary by design and account. Some downloads require credits, including creator-priced designs, and sign-in may be required. Check the price and confirmation shown on the design page before continuing. AI generation has a separate credit cost.
Use the model selector to see the collections currently available on MyTesLab. Select the exact model, generation and trim shown on the design. Similar model names do not guarantee texture compatibility, and Tesla feature availability can vary by vehicle and software version.
Tesla specifies PNG images from 512x512 to 1024x1024 pixels, no larger than 1 MB. Filenames may contain letters, numbers, spaces, underscores and dashes, up to 30 characters. Choose the correct model template and check the downloaded file before importing. Tesla currently lists up to 10 wraps from the app and up to 10 from USB.
You can upload your own image in the available design tools and preview it on the selected model. Publishing may require sign-in. Only share content you have the right to use, and review the preview and download requirements before publishing.
Open a design to inspect its interactive 3D preview. Rotate and zoom to check placement around panels and seams. The preview is a visual guide for the digital vehicle appearance, not a guarantee of exact in-car rendering or physical paint results.
AI-generated designs use prompts and the selected model; community designs are shared by creators. Both may have download requirements or credit prices. Check each design page and review the 3D preview before downloading.
